As a Sophomore:  Charlotte was a first team All OVC choice last season, while leading the Lady Colonels and placing third in the league in scoring with her 17.6 per game average.  Charlotte scored in double figures in all but two games last season and was recognized as the team's Best Offensive Player at the post season banquet.  She finished ninth in the conference in free throw percentage (.752) and 15th in rebounding (5.2) last year.  She twice scored 27 points last season -- Jan. 7 vs. Tennessee State and in the season’s finale Feb. 23 vs. UT Martin.  She also had two “double-doubles” last year as she recorded 19 points, 12 rebounds against Eastern Illinois (Jan. 30) and 13 points, 11 rebounds vs. Tennessee State (Feb. 4).  She was named OVC Co - Player of the Week on Jan. 11 after she collected consecutive scoring nights of 25, 27 and 23 points.

As a Freshman: In her first season, Sizemore began her college career in the same manner as she ended her high school career, as one of the best players on the floor.  Charlotte averaged 8.9 points and 3.9 rebounds per game in 1997-98.  She was third on the team in assists (52) and steals (42), fourth on the team in three point accuracy (35.7) and fifth in field goal percentage (39.4).  Her best game of the year came at home against Morehead State when she scored 25 points. and her best rebounding effort came against Southeast Missouri in the first round of the OVC Tournament.  In that game, Sizemore pulled down eight rebounds.

At Hazard High School: Charlotte was one of Kentucky’s premier players in 1996-97, leading the Bulldogs to a 37-1 record and both the All - A and Sweet Sixteen state titles.  She played four years of varsity basketball at Breathitt County High School (8th through 11th), before  transferring to finish  her career at Hazard.  While at Breathitt, she set that school’s marks for points in a season (720) and career (2,193).  She finished her prep career with 2,955 points, 1,329 rebounds, 536 assists, 378 steals and 139 blocked shots.  She averaged 20.2 points and 7.3 rebounds per game her senior year, including hitting nearly 50% from the floor.
