As a Freshman: Crystal saw action in 15 of the Lady Colonels’ games last season.  She finished the year hitting 45 percent, one of the top marks on the team from the field.  Her best scoring night was a seven-point outing in the Jan. 23 contest with Middle Tennessee.  Crystal's top efforts on the boards came with four rebound efforts vs. Louisville on Dec. 28 and vs. Murray State on Feb. 2.  While only averaging 4.1 minutes per game, she still managed to pick up four blocked shots for the year.

At Mumford High School:  Crystal averaged 14 points, 10 rebounds, five blocked shots, five assists and two blocked shots per game as a senior.  She was named to the Detroit All Metro team.  She was very much involved in community service as she served on Teen Outreach Missions that took her to the Bahamas and to Mississippi.  She also traveled to Mexico to help build homes for the homeless.
