As a Sophomore:  Candice started 24 games last season for the Lady Colonels at forward.  She led the team in field goal percentage at 47.0 and blocked shots with 17 last year.  At the team's awards banquet in April, she tied with Larrya Wall as the Lady Colonels’ Most Improved Player for the 1998-99 season.  She is one of the team's top returning scorers (7.8) and rebounders (4.1) for the upcoming year.   She had a “double-double” in 1998-99 as she collected 13 points and 11 rebounds in the second game of the year against Miami (Ohio).  Another outstanding effort was a 22 point (top scoring night of the season) and nine-rebound game at Morehead State on Feb. 13.

As a Freshman: Candice was a major player in the Lady Colonels’ second straight OVC regular season championship run.  Playing in all 28 games, Candice averaged 2.5 rebounds and 3.6 points, while playing 9.4 minutes per contest, leading all Lady Colonel freshmen in each category.  In her limited floor time, Candice blocked five shots and collected 12 steals.  Candice's best game of ‘97-98 came against Morehead State (1-17-98) when she scored 11 points and hauled in nine rebounds in the game.

At Bishop Borgess High School: During Candice's four years of high school, her team won three Class “C” State Championship titles.  Candice was named First Team All State and All Metro.  She averaged 12 points, 14 rebounds, four block shots and three steals per contest.  Candice was also an Honor Roll student at Bishop Borgess High School.
