As a Freshman:  Mikki started every game last season for the Lady Colonels at one of the guard positions.  She averaged 7.9 points per game and was the team’ s second-leading rebounder at 4.9 rebounds per contest.  Mikki received the team's awards at the post season banquet for Best Defensive Player and Top Gun (point system taking into account several offensive categories).  She led the Lady Colonels in assists and finished seventh in the OVC in this category with her 3.48 per game average.  She also led the team in steals and was second on the squad in three pointers made with 10.  Mikki was a warrior on the floor, leading the Lady Colonels in minutes played per game (30.9).  She scored in double digits in nine contests and came through with back to back double-doubles in early January  vs. Southeast Missouri (20 pts., 16 reb.), her best effort in both categories for the season, and Eastern Illinois (16 pts., 10 reb.).  She was chosen as the OVC Rookie of the Week for the week of Jan. 4 after these two outstanding efforts.  She closed last season in grand style with 11 points vs. Middle Tennessee and 10 points in the OVC Tournament game at UT Martin.

At Austin East High School: Mikki averaged 21 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.4 steals and 2.6 assists per game as a senior.  She connected on 53 percent of her shots from the floor, including 41.9 percent of her treys.  In the state tournament, Mikki hit for 37 points.  During her high school career, she scored 1,855 points.  For her efforts during her senior year, she was named Knoxville Interscholastic League Player of the Year.  In the classroom, Mikki carried a 3.85 grade point average at Austin East.
