INMAN TO COACH AMERICAN ALL-STAR TEAM IN CHINA

RICHMOND, Ky. - Eastern Kentucky University women's basketball coach Larry Joe Inman will coach an all-star team made up of Ohio Valley Conference and Southeastern Conference players on Sports Reach's cultural exchange/mission trip to China which will run May 13-27.

Inman, who completed his 12th season this past year at the helm of the EKU Lady Colonels, and his wife Bobbie Gene will leave Friday for the two-week stay. Inman's wife will also take part in the cultural exchange because of her business background having worked in upper management with Wal-Mart corporation.

"We're looking forward to going with these young people from our conference and sharing our Christian faith through our actions on and off the court. We will also be making speeches and meeting people at the universities over there and sharing American culture with them," said Inman.

UT Martin head coach Bret Campbell will coach a men's team made up of OVC and SEC players who will make the trip to China as well. Players chosen to both teams are outstanding players, as well as Christians who have accepted Jesus Christ into their lives.

During the two weeks in China, Inman and Campbell will also hold basketball clinics around that country, as well as coach their respective teams in 5-8 games while there.

This year's group of players will be the 10th set of Sports Reach teams to have played in China.
